I’ve always enjoyed dining outside. I love the sunshine…I love the people watching…. And during these times of heightened COVID prevention measures, dining outside is even more attractive. Research has shown that improved ventilation (can’t get much better than the open air!) greatly reduces the risk of transmission.
Truthfully, I don’t think I’ve eaten inside a restaurant for over 6 months now. I’m much more comfortable with take out or patio seating at the moment and I don’t see that situation changing for me anytime soon.
With Disney World back up and operational…and a trip there scheduled in my near future…I started to wonder what options I would have for outdoor dining. Here’s a handy list of table service and quick service locations that offer outdoor seating areas.
Though, take note, some of these outdoor areas are small with limited seating…others are located in high traffic zones…and not all are necessarily open for business. Nor is this a comprehensive list. Make sure to check out the situation ahead of time! Especially since a dining reservation at a table service restaurant doesn’t guarantee outdoor seating. In general, most quick service/counter service restaurants will offer some type of outdoor seating option.
