This quirky little town in northwest Arkansas has been a destination for tourists since its founding in 1879. Mud Street Cafe
Located below street level, Mud Street Cafe is a cozy coffee house with excellent vegetarian options such as an avocado, tomato, and roasted sunflower seed sandwich…plus great coffee, tea, and desserts. Make sure to check the display case when you come in to see what sweets they have available that day.
Aquarius Taqueria
Aquarius Taqueria specializes in street style tacos and they have several vegetarian ones available including a plantain taco. You can also enjoy house made specialty drinks such as hibiscus tea or horchata as well as margaritas. As a bonus, the entire food menu is gluten free!
Oasis Cafe
Serving up their own version of Ark-Mex, Oasis offers multiple unique vegetarian version of all your Mexican favorites such as curried eggplant and spinach enchiladas. It’s tucked away on a staircase and a bit hard to find…but it’s well worth it!
Local Flavor
For a bit fancier meal, consider Local Flavor Cafe. The dining room is decked out in local art and they have a beautiful patio area to sit on nice days. In addition to fabulous vegetarian salads and pastas, their menu has multiple vegetarian entrees such as grilled Portobello mushrooms or vegetables and wild rice.
Nibbles Eatery
This small restaurant is big on flavor! Serving light fare such as soups, salads, and sandwiches, Nibbles Eatery offers several vegetarian options like veggie quiches. They have fabulous desserts on the menu as well.
